Reflection on the use of ICT educational tools in education In the present-day culture, student's education necessitates the inclusion of ICT. Hence, with fervor, assurance, and proficiency, teachers can design a contemporary learning curriculum for their pupils. Incorporating diverse computer technology within the classroom is an effective method for stimulating unenthusiastic students to engage in learning. This is now an issue that I have a strong conviction towards. Prior to commencing the module EDN 419, I have to admit to being a little apprehensive about incorporating ICT in the classroom. This is because during my time in primary school, the learning was teacher-centered with limited use of technology. I believe that my unease regarding the use of technology in the classroom is primarily attributable to my deficiency in self-assurance, comprehension, and expertise. Y oga is an ancient Indian practice that permits the mind and body to be in conjunction with each other. It incorporates meditation, breathing exercises, and stretches to allow stress reduction, relaxation, and rejuvenation. After graduating from twelfth grade, I felt burnt out from poor mental health where I often experienced anxiety and panic attacks. I also went through a period of torturous Bulimia where people with this eating disorder may secretly binge (eating large amounts of food with a loss of control over the eating) and then purge, trying to get rid of the extra calories in an unhealthy way. Consequently, my weight changed from time to time, and this affected my physical health as well. Nonetheless, I took the courage to come out and help myself before it was too late. I sought help from my family and internet where I discovered yoga as a solution to my problem. I started downloading various yoga lessons for beginners and begun my journey to healing. Teachers awaited their day, the day that is coined for them. May 2nd is a very special day as it marks the birth anniversary of the Third Druk Gyalpo Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, which is also celebrated as the Teachers’ Day in Bhutan. We celebrate the National Teachers’ Day to remember and pay tribute to the Father of Modern Bhutan and to either pay our respect to the teachers’ past, present and future who have sacrificed, made a difference and who are sacrificing, making a difference and teachers who will be sacrificing and making a difference in the lives of many who had, are and will be building the Nation. The following pictures display the celebration of teachers’ day at Paro College of Education on 2nd May 2023. The program commenced with the singing of national anthem, His Majesty’s zhabten followed by speeches on thanksgiving and appreciation.
